| Re: poor recording? There's one thing that always bothered me about the P.U.L.S.E recording, the sound quality, it just sucks. The treble is all muddy and the bass is terrible. Some of the performances are better in some ways than the originals (ok I know I'll get flamed for this...) but the poor sound quality really ruins it.
Now I always thought it was poor because it was a live recording and you can't get the same acoustic purity as you get in a closed studio, but then I noticed something... Is There Anybody Out There 80-81 was also recorded live and it sounds WAY better, inspite being recorded using analog equipment from the early 80's. So what gives?!
