Re: The Trial

I know Bob Geldof (the guy who played Pink) really shaved his eyebrows (he had them insured first), but I don't know if he really shaved his nipple. I feel sorry for ol' Bob if he did - that had to hurt.

Re: The Trial

The way Geldof whined about everything else making that movie, you can be sure he did not hurt his nipple--we'd still be hearing about it. I know he did cut his hand during the filming of "One of My Turns" when he threw the TV thru the window.
I thought they could have picked a better actor for the part of Pink. Geldof's screeching rendition of "In The Flesh" was annoying.

Re: The Trial

Wasn't it the Behind the Wall special that Roger says...when Geldof was first asked about the band Pink Floyd in a taxi...that he said he couldn't stand them? Or something like that? Anyone?

I thought he shredded it on a Venetian blind.

Yes, I know I've read that Geldof was/is no Floyd fan.

Re: The Trial

He did shred it on the venetian blinds, they didn't stop shooting, thus the shirt , you kinda see him reach for it, wrapped around his hand.

The only thing I think he whined about was the fact that he was afraid of swimming during those pedellum scenes.

As for not being a fan, when it was all over I think he did end up saying that he got into it. And I liked his rendition of ITF.

Actually, I appreciate your correcting me. I was remembering the way his hand was cut in the story, which was on the broken glass of the door.

I like haggis. Not nearly as bad as it sounds.

Oh. You're welcome, then.

Does anybody else cringe when they see Pink's hand get cut by that shard of glass in the window frame? I can imagine that happening to me - I think I would react the same way he did, even down to the obscenity.
