Does anybody else cringe when they see Pink's hand get cut by that shard of glass in the window frame? I can imagine that happening to me - I think I would react the same way he did, even down to the obscenity.

i'd probably pull my hand back real quick, grab it with my other hand, and start screaming and crying like a little baby.

Re: The Trial

Not on the hand bit, but the nipple shaving incident, I could have gone my whole life without that.

Re: The Trial

He did shave his chest and AROUND his nipples. He was asked to shave his head, too, but he balked and they got a professional to do his groovy Nazi 'do.

I love Bob's performance in the film, he does a great job of capturing that Barrett-esque insanity.

This got my interest up for rewatching the scene. It looked to me like Bob must have cut his hand on the louvered closet door---- he's busting it up, then kind of hesitates and looks at his hand just as the scene cuts away to the tearing down of the venetian blinds (now with the rag around his left hand). I know Schaffner said Geldof "shredded his hand on a venetian blind", but I think it must have really been on the closet door.
Not that anyone gives a ratsass. And Schaffner's dead.

Re: The Trial

You are correct. He does stop and look at his hand, then it kinda looks like he reaches into the closet for a shirt. I don't know why I agreed about the venetian blind bit, except that I figured Shaffner knew more than me.

Aids, by the way.

Re: The Trial

Hey, he is correct. I just watched it, myself. He couldn't have cut it on the blinds, because his hand is already wrapped when he takes down the blinds.
I guess you learn something new every day.

And two questions:

Does anybody else cringe when Pink bashes the neck off of that acoustic guitar? I do.

And does anyone think that Pink's groupie is attractive? I really can't decide.

Aye, anytime a girl takes off her top, she's attractive. Sorry ladies.

She looks pretty good to me. I'd say about an 8.

Re: The Trial

Stratman: that set had two Fender guitars, a Gibson Flying V, and a Fender bass (I think). That can only mean that the acoustic was a Martin or something. Gives me chills.
I also cringe when Pink bashes that SLR camera into the coffee table. Lenses like that must have cost $1000, at least. Brrr.

And I would say that the groupie looks pretty good. I just don't like Spandex, especially PINK Spandex. But I agree with Stratman: easy 8.

Re: The Trial

What!? You guys must be kidding. :o

I mean, she sucked his fingers! That alone should bump her score up a good 1 to 1.5 more.

But I think we really SHOULD know the actress' name, and some of us may be surprised.

Good eyes, Shane. I went back and watched it and saw, besides what you mentioned, also a Les Paul. (Thankfully, he didn't touch it). I couldn't tell if the acoustic was a Martin, but I doubt it. I just can't see them destroying a Martin when there are loads of cheapo acoustics that look like a Martin. And I noticed he bashed in the TV's with the sunburst strat.

Byron: The finger sucking scene does kind of stir the juices. I'll concede a half-point. 8.5
