Learning to play Pink Floyd tabs and the band's music

Hi guys,

How many of you floydians on here Play guitar or learn Pink Floyd material? from the sound of Gilmours crisp tasty solos I assume that many of you do on Neptune. How do you learn to play from ear or tabulature? The problem is, I have not seen any Pink floyd tabs sites around purely for the use of the bands music I have only seen fan sites. Tab is good but I feel that you can be left alone in the dark and so I feel people need more than just tab. Tab with explanations and lessons as if you were being taught I think will bring great rewards to those learning and will also bring a great sense of achievement and fun to all those learning. The use of visuals with Pink Floyd tabs I think is exceptional. Think about it, if you were learning and you felt as if you were being carried along you have more determination in the process and you enjoy it because you feel much more confident and have "I can do this" sort of feeling which can only make you go on!

Myself, I find tab and sheet music helpful, watching someone play even better - but mostly I just listen to whatever I'm trying to learn about a million times and play along until I've got it sounding right to me.

Of course, I'm so sick of what I'm trying to learn by then I never want to hear it again, but that's the price we pay for art.

I will check out that site, but don't really have time right now.
