Re: 1974/1975 Tour Equipment

I am looking for info on PF's tour equipment circa 74-76. I'm interested in info that shows the magnitude of stuff they took on the road with them, rather than the details of which speakers/guitars/effect pedals were used.
I know their requirements were already massive at this time, using several trucks and planes (??), but I haven't found any specific data/numbers.
Thanx a lot for any help...

Re: 1974/1975 Tour Equipment

G'day Flex. Mate, if you go to the "interviews and articles" section of this site, under the heading "articles" you will find a three part article titled "Welcome to the machine, the story of the Pink Floyd sound" or something along those lines. That describes the sound set-up that Pink Floyd used all the way from 1967 up until the PULSE tour in '94. I'm pretty sure you'll find the info you're after in there.

P.S. The second part of the article is probably the one that covers the period you're interested in.

The Pink Floyd Encyclopedia also has lots of information about their equipment throughout the years.
