Okay. Firstly, I never meant any slight to the people or place of Mexicali (California or Mexico or both), but I KNOW the difficulty there of anyone keeping cool, least of all being the coolest in the world. I'm sure Mexicali is a lovely place.

As regards your alledged coolness, I must reserve my own paltry, unworthy judgement until, if ever, we meet in RL. Of those I have yet to meet, there is currently A N Other who pips you for that position, IMO.

firstly: make fun of mexicali all you want. i've been there like twice. and its not lovely trust me. and you are right. it impossible to keep cool here this time of year.

I would have said, just generally, the band would have had to have been friends for it to work for so long. Although clearly Rick Wright got slightly alienated from WYWH onward. Roger and Dave surely wouldn't be so bitter about each other these days if they weren't orginally friends?

Yeah, they were more like work collegues than drinking buddies or anything, although I do believe Nick and Roger were very good friends at one time.

Despite Roger being my favourite member of Pink Floyd, I think I'd rather be friends with Rick. Roger might be a better friend now, but I don't think I would have liked him very much when he was younger (still think he was gorgeous though! )

I've heard that Roger used to change his "friends" like other people change their socks. I don't know how true that is though.
