Signature...?

I put up my sig url with the "[IMG]" tags around it, but the image isn't showing....instead, it's the link...how do I fix this?

I could be wrong (I'm sure a mod will be along to answer in a moment) but I don't believe images are allowed in sigs. Cuts down on clutter and page load times.

Image code is disallowed in sig's and some forums. To see what is permitted in sig's, look at the bottom of the page in the block labeled "Signature Permissions". To tell if a forum permits image code, look at the bottom of the thread page for a block labeled "Posting Rules".

Not to pee on anyone's preferences, but the boards that allow signature images tend to be a lot harder for me to read, particularly when idiots use large images. I wouldn't be for allowing them.

I agree. Every comment is approx. 85% avatar, signature, animated GIF, and rainbow fonts, and it gives me a headache and I can't tell where the content is.
