| More Blues, Quicksilver, Dramatic Theme More Blues - I love Nick's drumming here, especially when he puts that big "spacy sound" in between each set of drum notes. The sound at the very end, too...something about it. Quicksilver - The last 50 seconds of the song...so eerie...and familiar! I swear I've heard the notes of this section played, before. Dramatic Theme - I like how the guitar notes echo out in this song....especially where the notes/song seems like it's *skipping* at the end. Very clever. Well, that's about it...tell me your opinions. |

| Re: More Blues, Quicksilver, Dramatic Theme I seem to remember that they did recycle parts of Quicksilver in their live show for several years afterwards. That might be what it reminds you of... I couldn't say for certain, though; it's been ages since I've listened to it. Recently I put the Floyd's contributions to the Love Scene sequence from Zabriskie Point's extended soundtrack album on my iPod. Good stuff, very jazzy, and much in the same vein as this. You'd like it! |
