Re: fav books

1984, Animal Farm, Brave New World, and A Clockwork Orange are all very good. Lord of the Rings as well, actually.

Re: fav books

"Catcher In The Rye" by Salinger is excellent, one of my favourites.

Re: fav books

Don't be embarrassed--I still have a soft spot for The Giver, myself.

My favourite books...

The Wounded Sky by Diane Duane (that's a Star Trek novel)
The Green Mile by Stephen King
1984

And LOTS more...I really have a passion for reading.

Re: fav books

hey, awesome topic! i agree with sydneys last comment.

ok here are a few of my favs, the ones that i can think of or are reading now...

Naked Lunch - W. Burroughs
an incredible trip. im re-reading it now for the third time. you gain something new everytime you look in it.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - H. Thompson

Animal Farm - Orwell
i recommend the version illustrated by ralph steadman

the Stranger - A. Camus
life sucks

True Hallucinations - T. McKenna
the kind of book a true pf fan should like...haha...

The Secret Life of Salvador Dali - S. Dali
a twisted explaination of dalis work

Diary of a Genius - S. Dali
an autobiography for the insane

South of No North - C. Bukowski
the first one by him i read. a collection of incredibly enjoyable short stories. anything by this man is good though.

Gonzo, the Art - R. Steadman
incredible artist of 'Fear and Loathing'. a genius in his own right. great intro by thompson!

Mind Over Matter - S. Thorgerson
the art of pink floyd. you should already have this!

Transfigurations - Alex Grey
forget jesus...here is your messiah...
imagination beyond god....

ok, let me stop before this site runs out of memory...look into these! e-mail me for any further info! reading is necessary! do i sound like an infomercial yet?
