Re: Roger down Under?

Its posted at roger-waters.com that the man himself is going to do a couple of concerts in Australia, but there has been no publicity here at all. With just 3 months to go does anyone have any concerte news on Roger's shows in OZ????

Re: Roger down Under?

Yeah, he is planning on appearing in Oz twice in April of this year:

Friday, 5th - Sydney - Entertainment Centre
Monday, 8th - Melbourne - Rod Laver Arena

All the information you might need can be found on this very site (SCROLL DOWN):

http://www.pinkfloydfan.net/tour.php

Hope this helps,
Byron

Re: Roger down Under?

Yeah thanks mate, no worries. Just the only thing that worries me is that there has no real publicity form any of the ticket agentcies or radio stations. For example, someone like Elton John is coming in Feb and his tickets have been on sale since the middle of last year...just hope Roger doesnt back out of coming...here's hoping.

Re: Roger down Under?

Why is everyone, well not really everyone, complaining about Roger not touring in the U.S.? He was here in 99 and 2000? Shouldn't everyone else get a turn.

Re: Roger down Under?

I'm feeling your concern Pedge....I have'nt heard a thing either.....the link on pinkfloyds.com states that tickets are'nt going to go on sale till late Feb. I'm feelin a little doubtful about him coming out, remember floyd were touring Australia in 1995 as well......did that happen !!

Re: Roger down Under?

Pedge and Mcatmos...Visa Preferred are now listing Waters as an upcoming show, so when (and if) the tickets finally go on sale, that will your best chance of getting them.

I used Visa preferred for a concert last year and got the first three tickets printed (which wouldn't be that impressive if the show hadn't sold out in half an hour).

And I've had my name down for Roger tickets since Novemeber.
