nin is my favorite band(one-man) besides pink floyd. the fragile and the downward spiral are my two fav albums ever. and i have lived through pretty hate machine, it holds a special place in my heart (though i can no longer listen to it...bad memories).

my music is heavly influenced by nin, one day y'all will hear it.

NIN is an outstanding band. Trent is a friggin' genious and his music is nothing short of amazing.

you see, i enjoy albums that can be used as a soundtrack to my dreams. 'the fragile' and 'dark side of the moon' are two such albums. its hard to find artists that put that much into their albums. nin is one of the best, just like pf.

Recently got the fragile and like it already, but I can't imagine that it will ever top the downward spiral.

I didn't think so either, but now I think 'The Fragile' is miles better.

NIN was always one of my faves. I was heavily into them a few years back, haven't listened much lately. Like guitarmangreg said, I'm not much into industrial either, never was, but Trent is great.

Re: Nine Inch Nails

Among my irrational fetishes, I have a thing for double albums. And along with The White Album, The Wall, Quadrophenia, The Lamb..., The Fragile is one of my favorite albums. I just adored it when it was issued in '99 and have always liked it better than The Downward Spiral.
Incidently, I do have all their/his albums.

Re: Nine Inch Nails

Still one of my favourites. I also enjoy Reznor's new band How To Destroy Angels and his film scores.
