Almost impossible to say!!!

try to think they're an unique disc, THE WALL IS THE WALL, no divisions

It's a toss-up, but I'm leaning towards disc 1.

Does anybody know the title of the movie playing in the background of "One of my turns" intro?

Re: The Wall - Disc 1 or 2?

Disc 1 flows better and seems to have a more cohesive story line. Disc 2 has more ambitious songs and more orchestration.

And Disc 2 has the Trial, which is my favorite Floyd song. And it's also the end, and I'd rather hear the second half of a story than the first.

In the end, I'd take Disc 2. But can't I just listen to Disc 1 half the time and Disc 2 the other half?

It's f***in' brilliant. (Can you swear here? )

I'm a Roger Waters man. I think he's brilliant. The Trial is the perfect song to end the Wall. It's a perfect resolution to the story. The way the song is sung by all the different characters in a demented opera is like nothing else I've ever heard. I cherish uniqueness.

Question One of my turns

I'm trying to ascertain the title of the 'background' movie that's
playing behind the groupie's monolog during the intro of "One of
my turns".....!!
(Is it the 'Dambusters', or is that during a different part of The Wall?)

Re: The Wall - Disc 1 or 2?

I dont think its about the songs.
To me.. Disc 2 is a million times better and i listen to it about 4 times a day minimum.

The way the songs flow together like a story just makes me want to understand every word in each song, every guitar pick, drum beat, or idea that ran into pink floyds head.

Re: The Wall - Disc 1 or 2?

I would have to choose both. There is not a bad song either disk. Both disks have some of the most amazing music I have ever heard.
