Don't worry--you're not stealing. I wasn't sure how many songs to put on a PF setlist, so I'm glad you stepped up to do this!

Re: Your PF concert setlist?

Speaking of "Not Now John", was it ever peformed live? I don't think there was a tour in support of the Final Cut, but what about Roger's solo tours?

Re: Your PF concert setlist?

cool setlist AstronomyDomine, problem is it would run at least 3 to 4 hours (as if thats a big problem, but maybe for our aging legends). Can i come to that show?

Re: Your PF concert setlist?

waaaaaaaaay to hard to try to put together a list of floyd songs i would like to see them play live. i say they should do a tour where they play every single album in every city of the tour, they could do three albums a night, how many nights would that be in each city?

Re: Your PF concert setlist?

Man, that's so hard to do... I'd rather go to a Floyd gig and listen to THEIR setlist...

Re: Your PF concert setlist?

Signs of Life/Learning to Fly
Astronomy Domine
Welcome to the Machine
Yet Another Movie
Coming Back to Life
Us and Them/Any Colour You Like

--SECOND SET--

One of These Days
Night of 1000 Furry Toys (RWr--this is NOT as unlikely as it looks. Mr. Wright thought the idea would actually be very interesting!)
Time
WYWH
Poles Apart/Marooned
Shine On You Crazy Diamond (PULSE edit)

--ENCORES--

Sorrow
Comfortably Numb
Remember a Day

[Note: I don't know whether Mr. Wright could be talked into this last idea...but it would be REALLY cool to adapt this song for the 21st century--I can imagine a lot of stuff that would be really neat to do. The beginning should be subtle--maybe a tape effect of children playing outside...people will think it's ABITW 2, except something sounds a little different about the effects loop. Then a wailing noise from a synthesiser or guitar...then the familiar beginning notes! Watch the shock on the faces in the crowd as they suddenly realise what they are hearing! The beat will probably be altered somehow to modernise it, but still fast-paced and strong. Ending and middle instrumental sections could be a real free-form jam, the likes of which PF hasn't done in years! This would leave the crowd one heck of a memory!]

Now, I have NO idea what the running time on this would be...
