Just because I really don't know... I mean, lots of stuff (shite) has happened to me in the past few months, so I really so wonder. Plus, the classical guitar part really rocks. Shine on you crazy diamonds! And I think I am C R A Z Y....

Yeah I'm a bit of a fan of "ease up Turbo" myself. Good one...I'll use that if I may. Dunno if it's Aussie though. Never heard it myself.

There is no particular part of SOYCD that I like. The whole thing is one big emotional trip for me... "Ease up turbo" I really don't know where I got it from, its kind of a saying that seems to move around school a bit, but its not something you hear too often... cheers _________________ Music seems to help the pain, seems to cultivate the brain

the song that invokes the most memories for me is the song Breathe. Reminds me of my first ever true love, it was my first kiss. And whenever i hear that song, i get almost images in my head of me outside the school with her. i rarely listen to the song cause it makes me too sad eh, she left me , she had to but we didnt want to. It was on the kiss, i was just bought dark side and i was thinking 'dont be afraid to care'. I dunno, thats what i was thinking about. And 'Mother' reminds me of the same girl, when i lost my virginity  id JUST BOGHT the wall that day. And it wasnt one of those picturesque beautifull loss of virginity, it was a drunken mess  so the song kinda fit. But man, the memories, like i hear the song and i can remember even my thoughts at the very time, like i dunno i remember the exact event. but breathe is the strongest song of any song to invoke memories for me. Breathe , i struggle listening to without tears. I dunno eh.

but breathe though, it seriously brings the biggest inflow of memories. i have to state it again. it was 12 midnight, i was 17 , she was a foreign exchange student from finland, earlier that week id bought dark side. And i dunno, i was an unlucky guy at the time, shy, but a nice guy. And it was outside lynmore school, and she was so beautifull and i was such a nothing, i was so shociked and all i coudl think about was pink floyd breathe because everything else was too much for me to comprehend. And thats where it began and from there i loved her, and the song reminds me of this. man you have me in tears here seriously. it reminds me of the whole era with her, and then a year she had to leave, and we both still loved each other. I remember 'breathe, breathe in the air, dont be afraid to care'. Kind of ironic, because i shouldve been afraid to care, never been the same since shes gone... (it was 3 months ago now). you bring this up get me so sad mean people  this is the power of breathe for me. Its just too powerfull for me. i mean, the whole era with her, but especially our first kiss, but all the other events flash in my memory as i hear the song. like just lying there at kerosene creek . and thinking 'all you touch and all you see, is all your life will ever be' and when i was being an idiot, afraid to take the next step, i was thinkning 'run rabbit run', and i was too into my drugs and 'go sit down its time to dig another one' another hole. what was i thinking man. this song pretty much dictates my relationship. I remember always thinking though , on the time reprise 'home, home again, i like to be here when i can' because i was always with her , never really at home by myself. And so whenever i was at home, just me, i reflected on how great things were, it was like 'home, home again, i like to be here when i can'. ok im rambling but yeah. this song is just sop powerful for me

What to say after that! That's a farely personal story man. I've felt that way about a girl before (it's like you can't think or 'breathe' anything else), but THANKFULLY no Floyd songs were involved. I say 'thankfully' because I couldn't handle my favourite music being associated with memories like that...too depressing.

"Wearing the Inside Out" (reasons I do not wish to explain) "Echoes" -- sheer beauty actually makes me cry in one part. "Learning to Fly" -- I have pilots in the family. Very sentimental. "Comfortably Numb" (PULSE) -- A musical masterpiece. "The Gunner's Dream" -- Especially after bad things happen in the world, the "dream" is a real tearjerker... There are more, but I cannot list them all!

Wots...Uh the Deal. Just one of the most beautifully sad songs ever recorded. I love the whole Obscurred by Clouds album, but this song in particular just does something to me. A man looking for something to make him complete, but when he finds it discovers that it was the journey that really mattered. I just love that song.

Another Brick part III. At a very angry alienated time of my life, this put into words everything I already knew about the authority figures around me. Is There Anybody Out There. Without getting too descriptive...rock bottom. I cried a lot of tears to this one. Don't Leave Me Now. Not the best musical song, but for anyone who's ever been in a dysfunctional relationship, this one nails it.
