Which Pink Floyd song/album brings back memories or evokes a strong emotion in you? In my case, High Hopes (while it may not be their finest work) reminds me of all those long road trips I've taken.......just glancing out the window at the New York State Thruway......

Delicate Sound of Thunder. I remember the sheer joy I felt listening to that album, thinking what awesome music it was. I must have listened to it a million times before hearing any of the original versions of the songs.

I still feel that when I hear it.

The Wall - It was my first PF experience and "in the flesh?" is the track that impressed me much. I still listen the entire album every time i'm badly depressed and thinking about suicide (that's to say often), and every single time it's an emotion.

"Yet Another Movie" from AMLOR does it for me. The first time I heard Dave's blistering guitar solo on that song, I nearly burst an eardrum. Not their greatest album, but one of my favorite songs.

Learning to Fly, while not one of my favorite songs, is a great tune to cruise to.

It evokes a strong emotion for me because I don't like school and I know I'm nobody's fool. From reading that sentence you might think I'm just dicking around with this thread; but seeing as how I'm only 15, I really do connect with those lyrics. Also... [Acoustic Guitar + Synthesizer = ]

Although...I will become somebody's fool once I get a job.

The Harpie Sings is the most image-laden, memory-stimulating song PF has ever recorded (IMHO), and gets my top honors.

BTW, Pedge, SOYCD is neither an album or a song. It's a group of tracks, each numbered consecutively, and found intersperced on the Wish You Were Here album. Be more specific or we shan't understand you.

Ok now I am going to have to ask what the hell your problem is? We all knew what Pedge is talking about and to every normal person who is not a perfctionist freak it is known as the one song, SOYCD! So ease up turbo!!!!

As for the songs/albums that bring up emotion in me here are the following!

1)Dark side because it brings up memories of good times with good friends
2) SOYCD becasue it is a tribute to Syd who will always have my upmost respect
3) Echoes for no particular reason I can just fell every single heart beat of mine when I listen to it, its like a trance.

cheers
