| There is plenty of recorded evidence, in fact thousands of hours of it, with Roger playing bass and playing it very well. From about 1970 onwards. On tour. And he's not bad. It's "his own" style even if it is limited. It suited the band. Him and Nick lock into a particular groove and the whole thing takes off. A little more difficult to capture with Dave overdubbing the bass after the drums have been recorded already. But yeah, anyway... I like these 2-year-old threads |
