I agree completely, all these Band X vs Band Y threads are a waste of time, especially when the bands in question bear no, or at best only a passing, resemblance to each other!

right on Dr Cheese & Ablaze! I think we'd all agree that the Pink Floyd are legends in the music industry and in a class all their own. Ascenine is the assumption that any band is "like" them, or
can be the "next" them...like that stupid Dreamtheatre thread.

Post Well ,SuperTramp is not that fav ,yet I do like some of their songs...

I've a compilation including some of my favs:
("hi, simon,yep ur's r here2 !") rated in descending order(ie A=best ----Z=least fav)
  • Long Way Home.(.....close my eyes and I'm long way home)
  • Goodbye Stranger( beautiful cresendo and WOW ending)
  • C O T C ( same goes for Pete Townshennd's "The White City -A Novel" album)
  • Logical Song ( ....naanaa nnaanaa its an anthematical ,catalayitical song...na,nannanaa)
  • BIF ( hmmm)
  • Its Raining Again (a nice done )
  • Rudy ( Hey U )
