| Re: Pink Floyd vs Supertramp Why would anyone even start a thread about this, Pink Floyd is so much better theres no question.

Let's face it — none of us in Pink Floyd are technically brilliant musicians, with great chops who can change rhythms, fifteen or sixteen bars here, there, and everywhere. And we're not terribly good at complicated chord structures. A lot of it is just very simple stuff dressed up." -David Gilmour |

| Re: Pink Floyd vs Supertramp Quote:
Not to mention how boring it would be, if one listened to only one band. Or one album, or one song. And, while interesting only to a few, it's true I turned BoaB on to Pink Floyd, it's equally true that he turned me on to Supertramp at about the same time. And while it's also true that DSotM was the soundtrack for the great Snake/Rat smackdown (the ---- won, if one hasn't read Byron's post on the subject), it was Breakfast in America after we got back from the chow hall. I love synchronicity. Edit: Added the link and removed the spoiler - read & find out.
