Re: Lost information on forums?

Mr. Dallagnol, maybe I am just dense ( ), but I can't seem to locate any posts made prior to 12:07 on 1 March 2002. I don't think the site was down for THAT long (though I think it may have been a few days on this last stretch). Is my computer having a problem, has the site simply been down for that long, or has information been lost from the forums?

Sorry to bug you yet again...I know I must be getting rather annoying by now!

Re: Lost information on forums?

Dear FloydWright,

No, you don't bother me at all. I noticed that as well. Probably in the process of moving my site to a new server in the middle of a DNS move (in both my host provider AND my registrar, how lucky am I?) some information may have been lost. I'll check with my host provider to see if they can bring the posts that were lost back. I am terribly sorry this has happened, and I am extremely distresses with all of this. The site has been down for too long, and now this.

Again, my sincere apologies.

Shine on,
Paulo

Re: Lost information on forums?

If it makes you feel any better, I really don't think THAT much was lost. Really, you have an excellent site here, and I don't want you to feel bad. Thank you for all you have done.

Besides...this stuff is NOT your fault.

Want to hear a really embarrassing story? One time...I accidentally deleted my index page, and had to rebuild it from memory as fast as I could!!!

Re: Lost information on forums?

Note: Morecombe and Wise: defunct UK comedy duo.

Fixxy, however famous they were on their home turf, I rather doubt they were internationally famous.

Can't you just imagine all the "Morecombe and who?" questions your provincial reference would inspire?
