Les Paul has passed away

Les Paul, guitar hero, father of the modern solidbody electric guitar and pioneer of multi-tracking, has died.

My dad hated him for his "gimmickry", but I loved him.

RIP, Les. A lot of people owe a lot to you.

I was recently talking with some people about how Les Paul is still alive. This is sad to hear, but it's alright. My first real electric guitar was a Gibson Les Paul.

I loved his album Chester and Lester w/ Chet Atkins from 1974

I think I'll dust off my ol' Gibson Les Paul and do a little "Caravan".
