i hope and belive that there are countries which the radio is much more influence on music then in israel.unfortunetly in Israel all we hear is pop music[low level]in my opinion the radio has to play more important music thus it is the most common way to learn and hear variety of music
the reason that not enough people know about PF is radio fault
what do u think?

i never thought that you lose the light in your eyes

and i think i heard 'us and them' once, to celebrate the release of echoes.

If you want more PF played on the radio, then CALL THE RADIO STATION TO COMPLAIN! Get your friends to do it too - the more people, the better. Radio is a business, and if they believe the audience is dissatisfied, they will change. After all, who else is buying all that crap that their advertisers are selling? YOU are!

Or... download all the Pink Floyd as MP3s for free! Then you get all you want!

Not to talk about Mtv and other music channels, italian Mtv is the ultimate commercial crap broadcast; i just saw little special of the band some months ago, and that's all.

A week ago I found out that there's a broadcast on the national radiostation about PF. I'm very upset and angry 'cause there were 33 broadcasts already and I didn't know about. Except that I heard PF on the radio only once. I couldn't sleep and listened to the radiostation with calm blues at night. And nearly 4 A.M. they played Dark Side from Us Snd Them till the end of an album. And that was really great.

Radio sucks today. It is nothing but pre-programed corporate toady sucking garbage. I love PF but "Comfortably Numb", "Money", and "Wish You Were Here" five times a day is a bit much. It was much better when the DJs had some leeway to dig deep into albums. Now everything is "packaged" by some suit with no understanding of music. When was the last time someone in the States heard a cut off of "Obscured By Clouds", "More", or "Ummagumma"? And if I hear Creed one more time....

Green Bay area radio station in the order of appearance...

1) Have a Cigar
2) Time
3) Wish You Were Here

Sadly, that's all they play.
