I have recently decided to try and get all of the Floyd albums on vinyl. I began my venture with DSotM off of ebay for $7.00 ($3.00 for the album, $4.oo for shipping). Anyway now I need help determining the aproxiamate value of it. And determining if it was a 1st, 2nd,3rd,4th, etc, pressing. Can anyone help, or at least recommend a site that will help me determine this.

By the way the vinyl itself is vg-nm, no ring wear, the cover is only good.

Thanks in advance.

Basically the only things that matter with DSOTM are: It has to be on Harvest Records, both posters and the sticker must be included too. In Near Mint condition with every thing included the value for it is $10.00.
I would recommend picking up a copy of either Goldmine's or Jerry Osbourne's record price guides for finding the values of any vinyl recordings.
I hope I've been helpful.
Also I jusr recently put my Tower Records copies of Piper and Saucer up for sale in my local record store. I will probably get $10-20 a piece for them if I'm lucky.

If you decide to pick up any of the MFSL mastered vinyls, you should be expecting to pay about $30 for a used copy also.

They're always good and retain their value.

Cheers,

Mark

Your welcome. Anytime you got a question on values don't hesitate to ask. I'm always willing to help out a fellow collector. There are too many people out there trying to make a buck off the ones that are uninformed.

BTW NNJ, I have a few sealed copies of The Final Cut and The Division Bell if you're interested (both are US first pressing).
