my number 1 is the beatles. nothing can touch them. but the floyd comes real close. maybe if they had a few more happy songs.

I don't know. Maybe a tie between Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple.

... and maybe Backstreet Boys!

I don't think I need to say mine. If you've read enough of my posts, I think you can figure it out.

Hmmmm....

A very hard choice but it would be between The Doors and Blur(as if you couldn't guess from previous posts!), possibly Mike Oldfield as well(I love his guitar techniques, as well as Dave's!!)

Of the Classics I would have to say a close tie between Led Zeppelin and The Beatles.
Contemporary, Nirvana, and I really admire Radiohead. A personal fave of mine, well Nirvana I guess, brings back memories, just like Floyd!!!

Interesting answers, lots of 'em... Lots of Zeppelin. I might just go ahead and download a few of their songs, just to see if you guys are right. When I started this thread I thought there would be loads more Sabbath though, surprising to see only a few of them. Oh well.. I'll go get a few Zeppelin songs then!
