I know they had at last 2 different seasons: the first one from '67 to '74 (rather bluesy) and the second from '75 until now, we can call this one the commercial era (Rumors especially sold millions of copies). I bought a Greatest Hits and i have the suspicion it includes only pieces of the 67-74 era (there's not a single damn data or information in the booklet), and even in internet i couldn't find what i'm looking for. So, these are the 14 tracks of the compilation: - Need your love so bad - Coming home - Rambling pony - The big boat (with Eddie Boyd) - I believe my time ain't long - The sun is shining - Albatross - Black magic woman - Just the blues (with Eddie Boyd) - Jigsaw puzzle blues - Looking for somebody - Stop messin' round - Shake your money maker - Love that burns Is there any of you that know if these are all pre 1975?

Not a big fan of theirs, but that's what it appears to be. That's when they were "good".

Well, I know "Albatross" is an old track of theirs, but wasn't it Santana with "Black Magic Woman"? :???: ![]()

Santana covered Peter Green's "Black Magic Woman" just like he covered the Zombies "She's Not There".

I'm sure that the compilation is a "when Peter Green was in the band (and sane. And thin)" type. Lanky old pissbrain, Mark
