Where are Syd's guitars now???

Ok Im new here, Been a huge Syd fan for many many years but I have always wondered what happened to Syd's guitars, His Fenders and Danelectros. I understand he gave a lot of his stuff away but I can't see anyone throwing them away, after all they were expensive instruments which belonged to Syd. We all know where Hendrix's guitars are and Cobains are but come on, someone must know. I would sell my house to own one of Syd's guitars. They must be sat in someones attic gathering dust. Anyone shed light on this please?

After I read this yesterday, I went to somebody's house where I found a danelectro guitar. What a coincidence.

I would check ebay or craigslist. Doubt you would find anything there though.
