I taped it off the BBC when they showed it, and am sharing an avi of it (~270Mb) over the Kazaa/Morpheus/etc network, if anyone is interested.

If 'illegal' stuff like this isnt accepted here, feel free to delete this topic. However, since it's a BBC broadcast that isn't for sale or anything, I don't feel sharing it with fellow-fans is a wrong thing

I own the DVD. It's Syd Barrett with some of his friends in Gogmagog Hills (where the ummagumma live) wigging out of there minds. At one point Syd has caps on his eyes and over his mouth. Then the movie switches to The Pink Floyd with Gilmour and friends in front of Abbey Road for they ust got signed to EMI. If you have any interest in it at all i sugges buying it. Ohh yea i am sure Syd or Roger wich ever you prefer gets royalties off this.

They're different things. BF is talking about the 'Syd Barrett's First Trip' DVD, which I also have. What I was talking about is the BBC Broadcast, a Syd Rockumentary. And as far as I know, it's not for sale....

Don, like i said, you can get it off of Kazaa/Morpheus. I don't see why I should contact you really, its floating on the internet.

The thing BF was talking about was 'Syd Barrett's First Trip' which is for sale as VHS and DVD..... you should be able to pick it up at a local store I guess

Just found this at ebay, it's a good docco! I have a copy of this legit verion and it's great, worth getting. This isn't a bootleg either it's all legit. So instead of ripping off our fav band why not support them and BUY the DVD instead of downloading it from the net. Oh yeah this DVD is REGION FREE so it plays on all machines (I have a US player and a multi region player and it works on them both).
