 Hey Look At This!! Hi guys! I was looking around the internet, and I came across this list. It is pretty good, has all the good bands...it is missing Joe Satriani and Robin Trowers though  The order is a bit off in my opinion, but it's all there! What do you guys think, certianly Dogs should have made the list, but oh well, you know it's mostly a popularity contest. http://classicrock.about.com/library/misc/ptop500.htm

Seriously, why do the top Floyd songs in these lists always end up being the "popular singles" that don't truly reflect the greatness of the band. I played the albums Animals and WYWH for a friend who "hated" Floyd (all he had heard was the tracks off The Wall and DSoM they over play on rock radio before) and guess what? He's a Floyd fan now. AHM, More, OBC, WYWH, Animals...why do we never see tracks from those albums in these "best of" lists?

I feel that all that "tripe, trash and shite" needs to be around so that the discening few may actually find out that some bands are actually better than the others.... and thus treasure their music more! Imagine if all the bands in the world sounded like PF?!?! A sheer nightmare, I'd tell ya... So believe you me, Pop is GOOD!
