Best Floyd Guitar Solo EVER:::

NOT CLASSIC!!!??? I feel that that Dogs is some of Dave's best guitar playing of his career. Every solo on that song is filled with tasty licks, perfect for what the lyrics are saying, and the overall mood of the song.

As far as marooned, I do not see how anybody could like the shortened version. When I heard it (my brother has Echos, I have no use for a best of Floyd, so I heard his copy of it) I was pretty pissed when it faded out early. I like the WHOLE version...

I do not thing there is a single 'best aolo' though. It all depends on my mood, and what kind of kick I am on at the time.... It varies week to week...

I've always found the guitar solo in Hey You to be particularly emotionaly stirring. While not their best, it's definitely mindblowing in the context of the song.

Like everyone else, I think there are so many that are just stellar...Comfortably Numb, Time, Sorrow...I do love the live version of On the Turning Away...great performance on that one.
