Why does "Mother" never get a mention when it comes to this topic? I love that song, and the solo is absolutely incredible! come on now

Re: Best Floyd Guitar Solo EVER:::

Mother has a good solo but not one that is in the top 3 of the Pink Floyd Solo Catalouge, more like top 12.
But still got a point, why has Mother been pushed to the back?

Comfortably Numb (the 2nd solo). It was voted the 4th best solo of all time by guitar world magazine for crying out loud.

My nod goes towards the end solo for "High Hopes." Very climactic and it's as if the guitar is speaking a poignant lyric to the song.

The only good Floyd solo is the Kazoo solo in Corporal Clegg. I don't even know why the band needed a guitarist.

Re: Best Floyd Guitar Solo EVER:::

I think the High Hopes Solo has to be the best, very special
followed closely by Comfortably Numb
