Indeed, BoaB... I've never been moved to male orgasm over a guitar solo.
But... if a guitar solo can move you that much... then go ahead! Do your thing! I'm cool with it. Whatever gets you off, gets you off. It's that simple!

What confuses me here is that I thought Joker was female!

Re: Best Floyd Guitar Solo EVER:::

Well, I couldn't put it like "Roger is azure" bacause "azure" means "homosexual" in Russian translation....but on the other hand "pink" means "lesbian"...

Should I change my signature ?....

Favorite Guitar Solo

Well, the most soulful guitar solo to me is the second one in Comfortubly Numb (In my opinion this solo is more soulful than Page's "Stairway to Heaven"). My second favorite has to be the solo at the end of the Division Bell in the song "High Hopes." It just sounds to me like Floyd is saying, "Look people, you can claim that Pink Floyd puts out the same old sh*t over the years and manages to somehow bring in a buck, but we are just proving that even though our music changes, our creativity and imagination in the same." That holds meaning, baby.

Smile About Face

I play guitar and just marvel at all of Gilmour's work but I have to say his outro solo on Near the End off of About Face just slays me. He really puts all the right notes where they need to be and knows when to play and when not to.

Breath and bleed Floyd.

I think I love Pink Floyd too much for my own good. And I cannot get enough of their music. And due to not having a job or anything, I don't have the funds of going out and buying a lot of their CDs. I also have not been introduced to any of the band's soundtrack albums or solo works. If you guys have suggestion let me know on what I should buy (besides a ticket to the U.K. and some rope so I can kidnap Gilmour.....shhhhh...).

Re: Best Floyd Guitar Solo EVER:::

Lawrenceburg,,, can't be too far from Memphis. If you like Gilmour...his About Face solo album is great. I have just about worn my cassette and cd out and still love it. There is one song that Pete Townshend wrote the lyrics to. Ya gotta check it out.
