what do you think about it??

Supposedly, the track listing will be (credits go to James Dodds for this):

1. Knockin On Heavens Door (Bob Dylan Cover)
2. Too Much Rope(from Amused To Death)
3. Radio Waves(from Radio KAOS)
4. Three Wishes(from Amused To Death)
5. The Tide Is Turning(from Radio KAOS)
6. What God Wants, part II(from Amused To Death)
7. Every Strangers Eyes (aka 5:06AM) (from The Pros And Cons Of Hitchiking)
8. Each Small Candle(New Song)
9. The Pros And Cons Of Hitchiking (aka 5:06 AM)(from The Pros And Cons Of Hitchiking)
10. Who Needs Information?(from Radio KAOS)
11. Go Fishing(from The Pros And Cons Of Hitchiking)
12. Perfect Sense, Part 1(from Amused To Death)
13. Perfect Sense, Part 2(from Amused To Death)
14. The Lost Boys Calling(Original Demo)
15. Towers Of Faith. From When the Wind Blows OST [87])
16. Flickering Flame(demo of New Song)

i like it, but it doesnt realy have the best songs, like folded flags, running shoes, or home. and what god wants pt 1 is better. is it being released in america???

personally I'd like What God Wants Part 3 instead of part 2, Home instead of Who Needs Information, The Bravery of Being Out of Range instead of Each Small Candle (we had it on ITF and will be in the new album) and Pros and Cons the Single version.
Amused to Death is 110% missing!
the previous rumoured playlist was much better IMO. (including PF stuff from ITF, ATD, WGW3 and all the bonus tracks)
By the way, what do they mean by Volume 1? next volume "the solo years" from another artist? Roger! give us the new album that would absolutely be the best! and Ca Ira as the ice on the cake!
waitingggg....

PS: what's the diffrence between the black covered and the red covered ones? pls explain.

IMO...

1) I don't get why Roger feels he needs to make a compilation album right after Pink Floyd made one

2) He shouldn't have used "The Best Of" in the sub-title because it sounds too much like Echoes.

3) It doesn't make sense for him to release a compilation album when he has only made 3 albums. And NO, live compilations don't count as an original album. It just looks bad when someone has to put 4 songs from each album just fill up a greatist hits album. Usually, a group will put 2 from each album.

4) I agree with the person who said that it should be WGW3 instead of WGW2. IMO, WGW3 is better because the first half is just like the other 2 songs; but then the second half breaks into a whole different song with a sweet ass solo!

.........

i know you probably didn't mean it this way but it sounds like you are saying pink floyd came up with "the best of" like no one else has ever used it.

I think the implication is more that Mr. Waters might seem to be thumbing his nose at Pink Floyd.

detect the hands of the record companys in Echoes and Flickering Flame.
Roger said he's not a great fan of compilations but afterall why not? lets have something.
by the way there's no "best of" mentioned on the cover or anywhere else.
"the solo years" is the perfect title used.
Best of Roger is yet to come.

Best of Roger Waters would HAVE to include some Floyd tracks. Also, I think this may be the work of executives, riding Echoes gravy train. Know what I mean?

Oh and also, the black covering is a limited edition box cover, kind of like the one that came with the first releases of Echoes.
I think it was only the first releases. I got it the day it came out, so I don't know. All I know is I'm happy.

im in america too. its not fair. but it does make sense to release a best of where hes touring.

oh by the way, wgw pt1 is definately the best. its faster, more powerful, and actually has verses and a chorus.

PS: whats the dif between the album and single version of pros and cons?

the single version has a diffrent guitar solo part and after that a -what sounds to me to be- sax solo. I could be wrong.
the link for downloading the low quality mp3 is in "best sax in PF/RW" thread. (general)
