Just wanted to wish everyone a happy 29th anniversary of Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon. DSotm turned 29 years old today, March 24th (as i'm sure you all know). w00t. I can't wait for next year. They best throw together one last tour...though it seems very doubtful that it will occur. I bet the record company will just release a 30th Anniversary Edition of the album instead.

Let the count-down begin: http://hareball.secondfoundation.org/dsotm.html

I wonder if there was any unreleased material from those sessions, if there is I think it would be noice to release it, if it is worth a listen, would make a noice 30th aniversary thinger

Ooh, like maybe the complete impromptu interviews from around Abbey Road Studio? We can find out the actual context of "I was really drunk at the time...." and all the rest. Unless those have already been avaliable, and I'm a moron.

something would be nice but I think we really need to stop holding onto hope that they will tour, highly, highly unlikely!

cheers

Did anyone take the time to celebrate the 25th aniversary of Pink Floyd's best album(j/k) back in January?

I'd be much better with the true Pink Floyd.

True Pink Floyd being David, Roger, Rick, and Nick? Some would say that the true Floyd is Syd, Roger, Rick, and Nick.

I happen to like all of the Pink Floyds (some more than others) but they are a bunch of talented, creative, and totally different individuals.

I had a dream the other night that Roger and the boys were able to put aside their differences for one final tour next year for the 30th anniversary...Ah one can dream, right?

i think he meant the real pink floyd that recorded the album as opposed to just three of them and all these other musicians.
