| Re: Dave greatest solo There are such a lot of Gilmour's solos I find outstanding. Anyway, If I had a rifle at my head and were told to choose only one, I'd go with the ending of Comfortably Numb from Pulse. |

| Re: Dave greatest solo I find that really liking other parts of the song can skew my judgement. For instance, 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' came to mind, but I think it was the sax that did it for me there. Ultimately, I'd have to go with 'Time,' 'Comortably Numb,' and 'Echoes,' in no particular order (but 'Comfortably Numb first!). |
