yes i have noticed that for quite some time, I personally like Dave Mustaine more then Kirk Hammet, for those Metallica/Megadeth Fans...

dave's greatest three are in order:
dogs (wow!)
comfortably numb
shine on you crazy diamond(the whole thing)

i mean, dave he wrote all of their songs, i believe so. and he sings and plays lead and rhythem guitar.When Kirk,.. he plays lead, and i think he adds some of the riffs, but he don't sing, or hardly even a fraction of metallica's amazing songs. I think Dave is really the only REALY talented one in Megadeth, but hey, atleast megadeth plays their own instruments. But I do like metallica more then megadeth,... and its a shame that Dave broke his arm... even more of a shame that Megadeth broke up...

... so terminal frost.. you like Death metal tooo aye ? i'm quite fond of it myself, ... Any other Fans of Metallica or Megadeth ?

I like the original version of CN solo cos I like the quick descending sixths on the 2nd solo. On most versions he doesn't bother with it. Maybe I'm wrong but I've only heard that version on the original and on the wall movie soundtrack.

Dogs has to be in there cos he plays a different kind of solo that goes so well with the rest of the music. I like the palm muting on sheep as well.

SOYCD has to be in there, nice solo & a bit of lap steel. Sorry for going for the same ones as everyone else

I would agree with those already mentioned but here's 3 mo' 1.Have A Cigar 2. No More Lonely Nights [Paul McCartney] 3. It's Deafinitely [David Gilmour] - you can hear the man likes Jeff Beck!

I agree...actully David Gilmour's favorite guitarist is Jeff Beck. David & Jeff are my most favorite guitar players.

Hard to really pick, everything he has done is phenomonal.

No More Lonely Nights has a nice solo, the whole DG (1978) is great.

Beside all the great floyd songs, I also like what he did on Arcadia's "The promise".
