Am I the only one who likes David's blistering solo in the middle of "Yet Another Movie" from AMLoR? Uncharacteristically fast (for Gilmour), and he wails on that guitar. Go put it on and tell me that doesn't give you goosebumps.

You can always count on me to agree with something from around then TF.

I didn't rate the DSoT version highly...but the MLoR is definitely very good...especially where he runs up the scales to that piercing high note towards the end.

And the keyboard / synth solo before the guitar solo is also pretty cool...a sort of ghostly / evil sound to it that I haven't heard anywhere else.

Ah, yes...my Floydian soulmate, I agree. He cools the solo down a bit for DSoT, a little more monotonic. But like you said, the riff on the studio version that ends in that high note is one that only BDG can do...what a sound.
