Ipad!!!

any one take the $500 dollar plunge...

for me the deal breaker is it doesn't support Flash...I'm waiting until Hulu developed an Ipad app...

I watch more TV on the computer than the Telly...

I can't even get Hulu in Canada, so I don't really care about streaming TV... websites using HTML5 will be able to display video on the iPad so that should eventually replace Flash. I think they'll be very popular once the price goes down next year.

Steve Jobs still insists that Flash crashes on Mac and thats why is's not on IPhone/IPad...

some complaints i have heard on IPad forums...

no Flash
no USB port
no camera
no video conferencing

speaking of Hulu, the US version has 4 thirty second commercials (mostly PSA's) in a one hour program... while the Hulu app that is being developed for the IPad will be a subscription service...

i cut my cable bill back to $10 per month and watch programs on Hulu for free...

I have heard that video looks quite stunningly good on the iPad, so it may be worth a look if they can get international licensing issues sorted out. Again, I'm waiting and seeing and sticking with my perfectly suitable iPod Touch in the meantime.

the 3G IPad that is coming out soon is going to have a month to month plan with no contract that you can opt out of anytime...

supposedly HP is coming out with something similar to IPad soon that has all the missing things i listed above...

I finally caved and bought the 16G WIFI IPad...this is my first post using it...

my wife is beyond pissed off...

trying to justify the $500 cost with Kindle/Barnes & Noble book readers are $300, IPad has Ebooks reader and is the rest of it worth $200???
