I play Echoes on an accoustic. It's a kick ass song, very fun to play, sounds great.

I think the slide Dave uses could only be done justice on a Strat, though. Prime example of the static energy in that song, Live at Pompeii. Oh my, yes.

Love,
`me`

Well, I've downloaded it GeddyJunior, and I have to say it surely is an excellent rendition of the song! It sounds to me, though, as it's lacking the bass. Is that true, or is it just because of the recording quality I can't hear it?
Good version anyway. The only thing that's a bit weaker, compared to the rest, are the vocals.

But, overall, that was a very good job man!
And a tough one, too...

The lack of bass may be because I had to make it low quality to fit on a server, or maybe because i mixed it so that the bass is on the right side, and has some affliction with your comp speakers, i dunno.

As for it being down at the moment, just try back in a day because geocities.com gives a bandwith error is more than like 3 people try to download it, so just try to be patient and it should work.

I used to work at corporate video store and would work by myself for about 4 hours a day. We had an "acceptible" playlist of videos to choose from including disney and really really mellow music videos. Live at pompeii was not on that list. Did i play it at least once a week anyway? Yes. Imagine an elderly couple coming in to a video store to rent "south pacific" or whatever and walking right into the middle of "careful with that axe, eugene". It was glorious.

sorry if that last post sounded completely off topic-i was attempting to reply to what someone said earlier in the thread about having a dream about hearing "dogs" in a fancy restaraunt and i thought it was relavant. However, the damn computer didn't seem to want to include that quote in with my post.

I get an error 404 page every time I try. It's been this way since you first posted.

I dreamed a show in wich Dave played High Hopes... It was so real! The stage was like a T.
I arrived there when HH was finishing, and he started to play Comfortably Numb... but a friend took me somewhere... and i missed it!!!! damn you!!!! Why don't you stay in your own dreams!!!!!
