While I quite enjoyed the show I saw (understatment), I must say that I am immensely jealous (understatement, again)of all who are currently seeing his shows, I can only hope for one of two things, a cash windfall so I can fly to wherever there may be tickets still available or a Roger Waters 2003 World Tour that once again includes North America. One can only hope.

Pedge...there are reviews of all his concerts pretty much as they occur at www.pinkfloyds.com (including a review by me). The link to the "in the flesh" area is about half way down the page.

I saw Roger on his tour and must confess to having enjoyed it immensely... the atmosphere was electric and the music itself absolutely blew me away.

I'm not sure if he's still touring, but for me, represents a healthier prospect than any of the overly processed recanting that Pink Floyd reel out.

I find it hard to disagree with anything said so far...
The bass on Welcome to the Machine made my whole body shake!
There was nothing lacking for sound quality, that's for sure.
And as for the playlist... There were a few lamentable absentees, but with a repetoire the size of Roger's to select from, you have to leave out some gems!
My comment to Sydney, who didn't make it *ahem* all the way from Adelaide, I came from Christchurch for the concert! Not to boast, but I had to save for ages, so I'm kinda proud. And just grateful to have had the opportunity to see THE living legend live!!

Were you at the pub in the afternoon? (there was a meeting of sorts with people from another website).

Shit it's all become a little surreal in my memory now.

Thumbs up Re: Roger Live!

Ok my first post here...

The next two years are going to be awesome for Waters fans. We have the 2006 tour, and I suspect 2007 will include North American dates, if he doesnt add those these by this autumn. I saw him in Toronto in '99 and it was a great show. So was Detroit.

Then you have his two albums ... the political album and the Pros and Cons sequel album.... its funny how the Pros and Cons thing still haunts or inspires him. Such is life I guess. I love that album, but I know many that find it too weird or just plain 'over their heads'.

Then on top of this is The Wall on Broadway, with Cirque (?spelling? f*k it!) de Soleil being asked to adapt some imagery and dance.
Ca Ira? I thought he was still going to do a few more shows live.
Thats a pretty busy 2 years.

Ok that was my first post... take it easy on me, you haters!

Indeed, it feels like a life-time ago. Luckily Fixxy and myself might be doing a 'refresher course' in Cork in June. That is if Fixxy is sold on the idea of seeing Robert Plant and Roxy Music into the bargain!

Welcome to the site mate.

We're mostly lovers...with a bit of hating on the tough exterior.

With Gilmour's current activities I'd amend your post to read "the next two years are going to be awesome for Floyd Fans"

I searched around a bit but couldn't find anything, so I guess I'll ask it here:

When is The Wall going to be on the stage? I'd pretty much sell my soul to see it, but this is the first i've heard. And I thought The Wall would never be performed again or something? Silly Roger
