Un-identified piece of artwork...help?

First of all, I'm new here but I'm NOT a new PF fan. Been liestening to them since I was about 13, now I'm nearly 18. They're my favorite band (especially the early stuff with Syd) and I can't get enough!

Okay, enough with all that and to my question.
I have a Pink Floyd poster, which was made in '94 I believe...it's got a sort of pink/purple background with not all, but more of the cover art from The Floyd's albums. Now, there's one cover or insert that I cannot find anywhere....I'm not sure if it's in Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Saucerful of Secrets....no idea but I'm VERY certain it's from the early days. I'll describe it.

It's who I think is Syd...but it's not just a picture, it's....a grainy kind of orange and yellow...so you can't fully make out the picture unless you sort of relax your eyes...

this is probly too vauge of an explination so I'll take a picture of it and post it up on here tonight if I can.

Hopefuly someone knows where this is from.

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm...not any one that I can recall from memory. I'll wait until you post it to see.

Welcome, by the way.

Welcome elpoo... Wow almost 18 huh..man your old.....

Just kiddin..

If'it is Syd in the picture that you speak of it mat be the "screen Print" of Syd the Roger uses as a backgroung effect during some of his tours, along with songs like Shine on.. Wish You Were Here... and a few othe "SYD Laments" of his....

There is a pretty good view of the one I'm thinking of on Roger's "In the Flesh , Live" DVD, but I don't recall which song...

Anyway.. post the pic, and I'm sure one of us will nail it down in short order.

Glad that you've joined us..

That's what I was thinking too. It shows up during "Shine On..."

You're very welcome chicka...the eye-rolling smilie is one that can be easily misconstrued, as shown here.

And welcome Elpoo, glad you found out what you needed to.
