Well Thorin & NNJ, both of you have given me the shits once or twice. After being here quite a few months I know that you're not total arseholes...but others might not understand your style..

Oh yeah...I've wondered where the steel breeze bit comes from too. I thought it might have been a reference to acid.

Hey, Barrett Fan---read the referenced thread, enjoyed your story. Doesn't take much to trigger a firefight around here, does it???

My conclusion: Roger coined the phrase. Period.

I'd have to agree with whoever said it at the top of this page, that I always got the impression "steel breeze" was a drug reference...could just be me, and that other person.

I don't think it's drug related, because the lyrics in the second half of SOYCD include "And we'll bask in the shadows/ of yesterday's triumphs/ and sail on the steel breeze".... so unless Rog is being ironic and I missed it, the steel breeze wouldn't be something that he's opposed to, such as drug usage. Then again, I'm an idiot.

Haahaa that is a bit contradictory don't you think considering Rogers kaftka-esk song writing on WYWH and animals and even the wall. meaning-anti work, anti "the machine". a Yacht is about as good a representation of the machine at work as Bill Gates house.

Thank you I'm out

No, I'm not a complete arsehole, but I try my best and isn't that what is really important. Just messing with you.

Oh and BF, don't be so sensitive, who cares what some loser on the internet says about you, remember, they are just some loser on the internet.
