in the SOYCD songs they say "steel breeze" a few times, does anyone out there know what it means?

I think it means the pain with the joy, eg. the steel with the gentle breeze. But that's just my take on it.

Roger said it was something like the forces of the music indusry that cut you into something else. I think thats what he said anyway.

I'd agree with the above, though.

Thanks for asking this question, B-F. I've wondered about this too; I've seen "steel breeze" in several un-Floyd contexts over the years and didn't know if it was an existing phrase, British slang, or if it is a Waters original. I'm sure someone here knows....

Don't you guys know anything about poetry and twisting words. "Can someone explain The Wall," "what does Time mean," and "what is a steel breeze." Think a little bit, you know its that thing your brain does that makes your head hurt.
