yeah seriously. all those concerts are about are flashy visuals and a million costume changes and squeezing more money out of the poor stupid girls, and occasional guys, who buy their crap.

I was at two "Wall" performances back in August '80 and can confirm that Gilmour definetely played the solo on Mother....The noise you hear when he sings that and Comfortably Numb are the radio mikes. There were so many of them being used during that performance that they interfered with one another-that coupled with the fact that back then they were using VHF instead of the quiter UHF frequncies added up to one hell of a racket. Incidentally, I know this because a journalist friend of mine interviewed Phil Taylor (Daves guitar tech) about a year ago and that was one of the first questions he asked him!!!
