The Syd we miss so dearly...

I don't think abt this happening too much but I live in new orleans(many ppl don't leave the house w/o a weapon) - so I know it could happen to me easily.

I have not seen Syd Barrett's First Trip, nor do I want to. Any Syd fan who can sit through that and enjoy it is a joke.

knowing that I'm a huge floyd fan, a friend of mine found it on the internet and send it to me. I knew I wouldn't like seeing Syd like that but I watched it anyway (I guess being the voyeur freak I am...). It's a thing to see out of curiosity, but it's so sad.

I would rather see a group of early performances from T.V. shows or anything that has The PinK Floyd from that era but unfortunately the only thing I have is Tonight From London which is cool but they show too many of the same shots over and over again for a movie that is only 60 min. long. The Lennon Stuff was cool though as was the Interstellar Overdrive.Was wondering if anybody seen the Syd dVD special and if its any good?also whats up with a movie on SYD w/Johnny Deep is thAt True or what.Whats next a Keith Moon Movie?I hope?

This video is depressing. To watch Syd as a kid and then realize what he bacame...its not something i would ever watch after the first time.
