Speaking of Pat Boone, anyone else hear that he'll do a song on Ozzy's new album?

Maybe it's not that Syd wants to forget. Think about it this way: if you had caused enough trouble in a band for them to kick you out, regardless if it was your conscious fault or not, and after you left they were huge, wouldn't you feel like sort of an asshole talking to them?

... And if I had created a band and written all the music and lyrics for them and given them their name, and when later I fell seriously ill and they didn't even bother to help me in any way, and treated me quite unethically in spite of calling themselves my "friends", regardless of whether it was necessary to kick me out of the band or not, I would have felt fairly uncomfortable talking to them afterwards too, I suppose.

And who knows what Roger Barrett actually wants to forget? Why does everyne thik it is because of pain? Maybe he has at last found peace of mind and a life that suits him best, and wants to carry on according to his own values and views... away from the world of showbiz, which has lots of dirt and injustice anyway.

Just my personal opinion...

Peace.
