Hello from the States

Maine to be more precise. I came across this looking for pics from Delicate Sound of Thunder, which in my opinion is still one of the best live albums ever. I am a 40 year old Floydian with an enjoyment of several other artists mostly in the prog rock genre. Anything else, just ask. Cheers Wheeler(aka Jon)

His av looks like a middle-aged bald guy, but "he" is really a 12-year old girl from Vero Beach.

Welcome to APFFN, Wheeler!

Been on my mind lately, considering the snow here at El Rancho de las Ardillas in Minden. Still bikini weather there, too.

Snow in Minden? I'm always surprised when I hear that you folks get snow over there!?! I keep thinking that you all bask in high temperatures year round.

Depends on how you define "high", "bask", and "snow".

Aberdeen definitions

High- Anything over 50F....52F is sweltering for Aberdonians. Many will remark "Hoots ma sporran is sweltering".
Bask- Able to sit in a deck chair ( wearing only a T shirt...kilt is optional) and drink beer/whisky/methylated spirits...to excess
Snow- White icy stuff, usually 2 foot deep ( called a 'skimming of snow in Aberdeen but enough to make London grind to a halt as they are all a bunch of softy southerners, not like we hairy macho men of Scotland)

Hope this helps
