| Re: Best of tour 72, review Good review. I always had "In Celebration of the Comet". Same show, different package. Just so you know, I just discovered a 2010 four CD boot of all four of the Rainbow shows; Feb 17, 18, 19, and 20th. The complete shows! And the cut in "Us And Them" on the 20th is corrected. The entire version does exist. And also "Eclipse" doesn't fade out early. It's nice to be able to hear the entire 20th show without the cuts...and the second set on the same night including Echoes. Also of note is "Here They Come". A recording of the first Dark Side show in Jan 20, 1972. The backing tape for effects and the click track crashed and they had to stop about a minute into "Money" and abandon the rest of the album and instead, went into Atom Heart Mother to finish the first set. Interesting. |
