That Gateway commercial on TV with the Cow and truckdriver singing Devo's "Whip it" just cracks me up. Anyone else amused? Anyone else got a funny commercial?

Before anyone flames me for spamming, you have to admit that this is SLIGHTLY music related; also, Gateway STOLE the cow thing from Atom Heart Mother, so it kind of ties into PF too. So there, I feel justified.

Unfortunately living in Italy prevents me from getting that commercial at all, but I like Devo and I know that song... I find it funny even without cows and truckdrivers.

Well, I know this isn't really gonna help you man, but, you know, we're here to talk nonsense, ain't we?

Oh, by the way, which one's pink?

I know exactly what you're talking about, strat. That is hilarious. One of my personal favourites, dealing between both music (though not PF) and comic genius...the AIWA stereo system commercial when a funeral procession is headed by a herse blaring Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust" and rocking out as horrified motorists look on....

...classic.

well if you were worried about people flaming you then you should have just put it in the just babbling section. you can talk about anything there.

I know one thing that ticked me off about a commercial lately. The darn 10-10-987 (or whichever one), freaking Tears for Fears, like my favorite 80's song of all time sold out to it man.

See below.

Remember the video for that song (Everybody Wants To Rule The World)? It had a cool Austin Healey 3000 just like the one I used to own....nostalgia.

Thx for bumping this loser of a thread, NNJ.
