echoes and 2001 sync

Hi! I'm fairly new to this forum so first of all i'd like to say howdy to everyone. It's good to know that there are other people out there with the same obsessions i have. So anyway, i've noticed you guys talking about playing echoes (the song) with 2001 and i wanted to know a couple things about it. Does it work well? As good as wizard of oz? At what point in the movie do you start the music? 2001 is my favorite movie of all time and the idea of watching that with pink floyd as the soundtrack sounds ok by me.
