Just one album...

If you were going to be marooned on a desert island and could choose only one Pink Floyd album to take with you, which one would it be and why?

I had to exclude More, Obscured by Clouds, MLR & the Division Bell because of the constraints of the poll settings, even though one of these might be your choice.

WYWH for me. For the poll, I would have booted Final Cut and Ummagumma put Division Bell and AMLOR.

I have a soft spot for Final Cut, as I actually enjoy it more than the rambling Wall, but each to his own.

My vote goes to Meddle, I can never tire of hearing it, and always manage to find something new on each listening.

MY fav is The Final cut. Has sentimental value and every song touches me. The album s a musical movie. I see I am only one the vote for the final cut. Thats cool, I personally hate having to choose cause my fav. could be diff any day depending on my mood.

Its obviously hard to choose, considering all their albums are amazing. But I'd take The Wall. I can't get bored of that album. I listen to the first 6 songs almost everyday. Haha

Wish you where here.....can listen to it over and over again. Feggin masterpiece, followed very closely by Animals, and very closely by Dark Side, and very closely by Meddle, and so on and so on.....

But, yeah, Wish you were here if I was marooned......great poll !!!

I just love Piper at the Gates of Dawn closely followed by Saucerful of Secrets.
