Hey, I was planning on burning an all-rare floyd cd. I've been planning this for a while now, up till now this is what I have:

1 Pigs on the wing (8 track version)
2 It Would be So Nice
3 Point Me At The Sky
4 Unknown Song
5 Crumbling Land
6 Crountry Song
7 When The Tigers Broke Free
8 Come In Number 51, Your Time is Up
9 Heartbeat, Pigmeat
10 Kingbee
11 Lucy Leave
12 Apples and Oranges
13 Candy and a Currant Bun
14 Vegetable man
15 Scream Thy Last Scream

And I stil have 16 minutes to go, oh and the ones with an are because I read somewhere in here that they might be fakes, someone please help me with these. Oh and thinking about maybe adding these:

- Let's Roll Another One
- Beset By Creatures of the Deep
- One in a Million
- Oneone Fignal's Cave

But I'm not really sure of those either, what do you think or know of them?

Oh and what's up with the origin of these:

- Nick's Boogie
- Blues Jam
- Murderistic Woman
- Seabirds (from the More film)
- Susan's Lungs (?)
- Stanley the Simpleton (?)
- Give Birth to a Smile (music from The Body, constitutes as a floyd song I guess, cause they all pitched in)

What do you know and/or think of these. Thanks a lot, any advice will help me out. I know some are different versions of other floyd songs, please point them out. I know I'm missing 'Embryo', 'Biding My Time', and 'Paintbox' and whatnot, but seeing as I have 'Relics' and 'Works' I don't see why I should add them here.

But most importantly, what do you thik I'm missing or what should I take out, cause I really want to polish it and have a definitive collection in my cd-r, and pop it in and enjoy. Really anything would be soooo nice. Point me at the sky and let it fly. I got carried away. Help a fan out. Thanks!!

See ya around, when pigs fly round the Nile!

You should add to your list Love Scene Version 4 (truly wonderful), Moonhead, Corrosion, Sunshine, The Violence Sequence... the list is long.

Thanks a lot, looks like I might need to burn 2 cds. Please post more songs, and say which ones might be fakes or which ones are versions of other songs. Really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot!

See ya around, is there anybody out there?

Definitely put on "Behold the Temple of Light" and "The End of the Beginning", from The Man and the Journey (Amsterdam 1969). Be sure to put them together in that order, because one segues directly into the next.

The latter is "Celestial Voices", but the very cool part is that the beginning part of it is played on what sounds like a real cathedral organ.

Yes, indeed, but there's a lot of other rarities actually, not just RAD. I just mentioned my favourites. RAD is not so different from Sheep.

I have differente versions of Raving and Drooling and You Gotta Be Crazy, but I put those aside in a live rarities cd. Along with Celestial Voices and Mademoiselle Nobs, all different versions of other songs, but somehow bootlegs and live performances are not what I'm including if you look at my list again. I'm looking for real rarities, preferably unreleased stuff.
And hoping that other people in here, like me, get to spot them, download them and listen to them.

And what did you mean by what kind of fan am I?

See ya, kicking around in a piece of ground in my home town!

That will not happen, too many songs, too many lyrics. But IF that ever happened, I'd probably start quoting Shakespeare then!

See ya, when the sun is eclipsed by the moon!

I can\'t find that song anywhere on the internet, and it\'s not because you misspelled labyrinth. I\'m really interested in this one, does anybody know anything about it or where you could donwload it?

Oh and I bumped into a version of love scene number 6 from the Zabriskie Point Soundtrack, when looking for the number 4. Then I looked up and found that numbers 1,2,3 and 5 were recorded but never released. Anyone know if they\'re worth the effort of tracing down, or if 4 and 6 are the best?

Also, I can\'t seem to find a clean listenable version of The Violence Sequence. Same for corrosion, moonhead, sunshine and sleep. Mmmm.

Oh and thanks FloydWright for the picks from The Man And The Journey, I\'m thinking of getting it now from e-bay if I ever get the chance. It\'s got a great celestial voices.

I\'m sure there must be a lot of other rare songs, please post \'em, there must be lots of guys like me just aching for this stuff.

Thanks!

See ya around, as I flash...the readies...wot\'s....uh the deal!:p
